Lesbian week

Regional conference "Lesbian week" - a gathering of lesbian activists from former Yugoslavia, under the title "WE HAVE COME OUT", organized by the lesbian group Labris from Belgrade and lesbian group NLO from Novi Sad, was held in Belgrade from 21th -24th April 2011. year. Regional conference brought together activists from Slovenia, Serbia and Montenegro, Croatia, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The regional conference was organized for 30 participants, also conference was open to all activists from other cities in Serbia. The total number of women who attended the meeting is 76.
Regional conference "Lesbian week" was the tenth gathering of lesbian activists from the former Yugoslavia.
The objectives were strengthening the lesbian network in ex-Yugoslavia, empowering lesbian identity, raisin awareness on lesbian rights, lesbian visibility, lesbian history, discousions on themes of homophobia and politics of feminism, exchanging knowledge and experiences of lesbian activists and groups participating in public events, development of strategies to strengthen the ex-Yu lesbian networks and collective action.
Regional conference "Lesbian week" consisted of seven panel discussions, five workshops and lecture.
