Labris, a group for lesbian human rights, was founded in 1995. It emerged from the gay and lesbian lobby – Arkadia, which was formed in 1990 and registered in 1994 in Belgrade.In the first six years Labris used the working spaces and techinical equipment of two women's NGO's for the realization of its activities. The group got its own working space for the first time in 2001, which is something that has greatly helped the groups’ realization of activities and projects and the quality of those.
